Cake Toppers and Decorations: What We Offer
The cake itself is half the design. The topper and decorations finish it. Here's a clear breakdown of what we provide, what works on buttercream, and what you can bring yourself.
Acrylic Toppers
Acrylic toppers are the most popular option. They're laser-cut from durable plastic, usually in gold, silver, or black. Common choices: names, ages ("30"), short phrases ("Happy Birthday"), or custom text.
Acrylic toppers are reusable. After the party, wash it off and keep it as a keepsake. They sit cleanly in buttercream without sinking, and they photograph well because they catch the light.

Fresh Flowers
Fresh flowers on a cake look effortless and elegant. We use food-safe flowers placed on or around the cake. Common picks: roses, eucalyptus, baby's breath, peonies (when in season).
A few things to know. Flowers are placed the day the cake is finished, since they wilt. Not all flowers are safe near food — we only use varieties that are non-toxic and haven't been treated with pesticides. If you want to supply your own flowers, let us know the type first so we can confirm they're suitable.
Macarons and Edible Decorations
Macarons on top of a cake add height and color. We place them in clusters or a cascade arrangement down the side of the cake. They're edible, they match the color scheme, and they give a bakery-style finish.
Other edible decorations we use: sprinkles (custom colors to match your theme), chocolate shards, meringue kisses, and edible prints (photos or logos printed on edible paper). Edible prints work well for corporate events or kids' character cakes.
What You Can Bring Yourself
You're welcome to bring your own topper or decorations. Figurines, toy characters for kids' cakes, candles, sparklers — anything that sits on or next to the cake. Just tell us in advance so we can plan the design around it.
A few things we don't recommend: heavy ceramic figurines (they sink into buttercream), anything with open flames left unattended, and glitter that isn't food-safe (regular craft glitter is not edible and contaminates the cake).
