Delivery or Pickup: What Suits You?

Pickup is available from our home kitchen in Vlaardingen. When your cake is ready, we send you a message with a time window. You come by, we hand you the cake in a secure box, and you are on your way.

Pros: No delivery fee. You see the cake before you leave. You control the transport conditions (drive carefully, keep it flat, avoid direct sun). For tiered cakes, we can walk you through how to handle it in the car.

Cons: You need to come to Vlaardingen. If you are hosting in Rotterdam-Zuid, Schiedam, or elsewhere, that means planning a trip into your day. For large or multi-tier cakes, you need a flat surface in your car, ideally the floor behind the front seats or a flat boot.

Tips for safe transport: Bring a non-slip mat or damp towel to place under the cake box. Drive smoothly and avoid sharp brakes. Keep the car cool. If it is summer, blast the AC before putting the cake in.

We deliver across Rotterdam, Schiedam, Vlaardingen, Maassluis, and surrounding areas in Zuid-Holland. Delivery fees depend on distance from our kitchen. We confirm the exact cost when you place your order.

Pros: No driving. The cake arrives at your door ready to serve. We handle transport, so we take responsibility for keeping it safe and looking perfect. For large events, this is one less thing to worry about.

Cons: There is a delivery fee. You need to be home during the delivery window. For very specific timing (like a surprise party), we need to coordinate carefully.

We deliver cakes in our own vehicle, not via a courier service. Your cake is never tossed around in a delivery van with twenty other packages. We bring it to your door, hand it over, and make sure you are happy with it.

Choose pickup if you live near Vlaardingen, have reliable transport, or want to save on the delivery fee. Choose delivery if your event is far from our kitchen, if you are managing a busy event day, or if you have a multi-tier cake that you would rather not transport yourself.
