Ramadan Cakes and Iftar Desserts

Moon and star motifs are the most requested during Ramadan. We work these in through acrylic toppers, gold-toned buttercream accents, or piped details. Colour schemes tend toward gold, white, green, and deep blue.

Semi-naked cakes with dates and fresh flowers on top are another popular choice. They look elegant on an iftar spread without being over the top. Cupcake boxes are practical for sending to family and friends — 6 or 12 cupcakes in a box, each decorated with Ramadan-themed details.

All our cakes use buttercream only. No fondant. The designs are clean, and the cake actually tastes good — which matters when it is the first sweet thing people eat after a long day of fasting.

Ramadan is our busiest period for orders from the Muslim community. Slots fill up fast, especially for the last ten nights and Eid al-Fitr. Here is how to plan ahead.

We need at least one week of lead time for any order. During Ramadan, we recommend ordering two weeks in advance if possible. For Eid cakes specifically, orders placed three weeks before Eid have the best chance of getting the exact date and design you want.

Eid is the biggest single day for cake orders. Families celebrate with breakfast gatherings, lunch parties, and visiting relatives throughout the day. Some order one large cake, others get cupcakes to bring along on visits.
