Eid Cakes: Ordering Guide for Suikerfeest and Offerfeest

Eid is a time for celebration and sweets. How to order the right cake for Suikerfeest or Offerfeest.

Celebrating Eid with a Custom Cake

Eid al-Fitr (Suikerfeest) marks the end of Ramadan and brings families together around a table full of food and sweets. A custom cake often sits at the centre of that table, and we see more Eid cake orders every year.

Whether you are hosting a small family gathering or a larger celebration with friends and neighbours, a well-designed cake adds something special to the occasion. Here is what we see our customers ordering and when you should plan ahead.

Crescent moon and star cakes: The most requested Eid design. A smooth buttercream base in white, gold, or pastel shades with a piped or placed crescent moon and star on top. Simple, elegant, and immediately recognisable as an Eid celebration cake.

Gold and white elegance: A white buttercream cake with gold leaf details, gold drip, or gold-painted accents. This sophisticated style works for both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. We often pair it with "Eid Mubarak" lettering in gold.

Floral Eid cakes: Piped buttercream flowers in soft pinks, lavenders, and greens, arranged on a white or cream base. Many customers pair this with a floral "Eid Mubarak" cake topper. It is a popular choice for all-female gatherings.

Colourful celebration cakes: Bright colours, sprinkles, and bold "Eid Mubarak" lettering. These are favourites for families with children and make a lively centrepiece. We can match the cake colours to your party decorations.

Eid cupcake sets: A box of 12 or 24 cupcakes, each topped with buttercream in your chosen colours and Eid-themed decorations. Easy to share, no cutting needed, and great if you are visiting multiple households on Eid day.

When to Order Your Eid Cake

Eid dates shift each year, so planning ahead matters. We recommend ordering at least two weeks before Eid. During the last week of Ramadan, our schedule fills up fast because many families place their orders at the same time.

If you are unsure of the exact date (Eid depends on the moon sighting), order based on the expected date range. We are flexible with pickup and delivery timing and can adjust by a day if the official announcement shifts things.

For large orders (more than one cake, or cakes plus cupcakes), give us at least two to three weeks. This ensures we can give your order the attention it deserves. Start your Eid cake order here.

    Size Guide for Eid Gatherings

Eid celebrations vary a lot in size. A family iftar might be 8 people; an open-house celebration could be 30 or more. Use our cake calculator to figure out the right size for your guest count.

As a rough guide: a 6-inch cake serves 8-10, an 8-inch serves 15-20, and a 10-inch serves 25-30. If you expect guests to come and go throughout the day, cupcakes alongside a smaller cake can be a practical choice.

All our cakes use halal-only ingredients. No alcohol, no gelatin, no fondant. Just buttercream, quality chocolate, real butter, and fresh cream.
